Happiness is an issue of power.
It is now time for you to learn to use the power of happiness to deal with difficult people in your life and you will prevail.
We give our happiness to others for many reasons. Then we think that they make us unhappy. The truth is that we have given others the power over ourselves. We must take our power back in order to be happy again.

Happ-E-Quote:)
"Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker." - John Maxwell

Happ-E-Mail:) I can always use and choose more happiness. Wonderful to read about you on Robert Muller's daily notes. Thanks, John D. Brown

Happ-E-Quote:) "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." - Melody Beattie

Happ-E-Mail:) I recommend this website to you:
Click here: Gary Zukav Home Page This web site is dedicated to spiritual growth and social transformation. It is to help us connect and share. A team of heart-connected volunteers worked hard to put this first version of it online in time for Oprah Winfrey's shows featuring these ideas, and me, Gary Zukav. Much more is coming. Gatherings and conferences will be listed here. Innovative ways to access information and each other are being planned. In time, online interactions will be hosted here. Please make yourself at home, take what you need, and -- as we become equipped for it -- share what you have. We have much to do together. Let us do it in wisdom, joy, and love. Let us make this the human experience. Love, Gary Zukav

Happ-E-Quote:) "To admit you were wrong is to declare you are wiser now than before." - Unknown

Happ-E-Mail:) Hi, I just love your happiness site, it is a blessing to me. I read it every morning with my coffee. I have told a lot of people about it, as I know it can help them find happiness. We really should teach this in school, most people do not understand how our minds work against us with all these negative thoughts, and how to deal with it. Thank you for all your effort in helping people understand how to be happy. I found your site looking for happiness on the web, and would like to receive your newsletter. Thanks again. Love Paul and Elizabeth

Happ-E-Quote:) "They are not poor that have little, but they that desire much. The richest man, whatever his lot, is the one who's content with his lot" - Dutch Proverb

Happ-E-Mail:) Thank you very much for your reply and for your article CHOICE POWER, it really makes sense, when you are happy you see things clear and when you are unhappy you don't. I really have been thinking about my problem and not about the solutions. This evening in the tranquility of my room I will start thinking about the solutions, one of the steps I've been doing is to look for a job near home, I have been looking and sending my resume, I hope it works, I also prayed for my problems to be solved. I really appreciate the time you take to answer people. I am originally from Peru but I live in the United States for almost 23 years, I came here when I was really young. Well, thanks again and keep on being an angel to people in need of some wise ears to hear them. Sincerely, Maria Villanueva

Life is not fair!
By Lionel Ketchian

I have said many times that "life is not fair." With that being said, you have to make up for it by being fair to yourself. Be happy and you can change your world. In fact, by becoming happy you are changing the world for the person next to you as well. So you can see how happiness can benefit not only you, but everyone else in your life as well.

Have you come to a Happiness Club meeting? If you are tired of being unhappy, or if you want to be happy, you can join. You are probably wondering what it costs to join the club. Well, I'll tell you, it will cost you plenty. It may cost you all of your unhappiness, and that's a lot to give up.

The Happiness Club started right here in Fairfield, CT in January 2000. Since that time, we've had monthly meetings in town. The reason we started the Happiness Club is that we realize the time has come to be happy. Now is the time for all of us, young and old, rich or poor. Has anyone ever told you that you need to be happy? That's what friends do for one another and that's why I am telling you to be happy!

The reason we have the Happiness Club is because happiness is important. Happiness is the reason you do everything that you do. Plus, I think happiness looks good on you. I think women look magnificent with a smile, and men look fantastic with a smile as well. You already know what children look like with a smile on their face. I think your smile can change your world. Many people have changed their life using happiness. They learned all they could about happiness and are using it to make their life the best it can possibly be.

Since the Happiness Club began, the monthly meetings have brought people together and helped to form new friendships. At our last meeting in June we had ninety-five people present. This has given all of us the opportunity to meet old friends and new ones. One of the great things about the Happiness Club is that it costs absolutely nothing to go to a meeting. Of course it means spending time at the meeting instead of watching TV or doing something you routinely do. We do not seem to have time for ourselves. We do not talk anymore, meet new people, and share new ideas. The Happiness Club gives you a reason to do something for yourself. It is one of the really important benefits of our meetings. If you treat yourself right and learn to be happy you will start making a positive difference to the ones you love, family, friends and the people you work with. Happiness can change lives.

The biggest problem I see with happiness is that it sounds too easy. It's not, because people do not even know what happiness is. They don't know how to find happiness, or more importantly, have it begin to work for them. There have been many books written on happiness in the past few years. It has become the new wave of psychology. This is because everyone wants to be happy. It is among the most basic wants we have as human beings. The trouble is in the way we go about getting it, and what we think happiness really is. If you do not think happiness is important to you than you had better think again. Trying to find happiness is the reason you do anything. Whenever you think about doing something you do it so you can be happy. Happiness is the bottom-line my friend. It is one of the most important things you can do for yourself.

I know many people that have problems. Some people have extremely serious situations and illnesses. In spite of their problems, people have been open to learning to be happy. Do you know the best part? The more open you are to learning about happiness and being happy the better you make out with the situations you are dealing with. People are wonderful when you give them a chance to experience happiness. It is so natural for us to be happy; it is no wonder that we are so stressed out when we are unhappy. I have found that meeting people, talking to them, and reading e-mail that has been sent to me has made me closer to people. It is a magnificent feeling.

If you are a reader than take a look at the HappinessClub.com web site to see the books that are listed for happiness. Another thing that you can do is to send for the free e-mail newsletter called the Happ-E-Newsletter. You can subscribe to it on our website or send me an e-mail. It's a bimonthly newsletter that also profiles books and the insights of the authors, meeting notices, happy thoughts, and many other items on happiness as well.

The Happiness Club is about each of us learning to live peacefully within ourselves. That's the first step to learning to live with one another. The truth is it is hard to live with ourselves. You must learn to become your own best friend. If you live long enough, you will be spending a lot of time with yourself. It is better to learn how to be happy early so you can lighten your load for the rest of your trip through life.

The important thing is to become aware of happiness. The choice you do not know is the choice you can never make. Make the happiness choice. I hope you join us at a Happiness Club meeting, it only costs you all the unhappiness you have. So today, join the Proud, the Few, the Happy! Happiness is contagious … SMILE. Smile and pass on your power of happiness to others. Change the world for the better. You can do it!
