Lionel Ketchian recognizes the importance of understanding happiness because he made the Happiness Decision 15 years ago. Now that he has reached the age of 60, he realizes that
it is the best decision he has ever made. He wrote the "Happiness Formula" and has a
"One Step Method for Happiness." He believes that happiness can change the world, one
person at a time, starting with oneself.

 Lionel has been President of LRK Communications, Inc. and it's division, American Litho since 1979. Founder of the Happiness Club, in Fairfield,Connecticut in 1999, Lionel hosts free
monthly Happiness Club meetings to discuss the many benefits of happiness and their role in individual wellness. Thanks to a greater awareness of the therapeutic effects of happiness the Happiness Club has recently expanded to California.

Mr. Ketchian writes the bi-weekly newspaper column, Be Happy Zone,for the
Fairfield Citizen-News, he publishes a free bi-weekly e-mailnewsletter titled Happ-E-Newsletter,
and was the co-host of the weekly cable television program, The Happiness Show.

In 1988, Lionel authored the book Food for Thought, after realizing that Happiness is a Decision, and received endorsements by world famous Authors such as: the Rev. Norman Vincent Peale, The Power of Positive Thinking; Dr. Bernie Siegel, Love, Medicine & Miracles; Ken Blanchard, Ph.D., The One Minute Manager; Ken Keyes, Jr., Handbook to Higher Consciousness; Bob Mandel, Open Heart Therapy; Jack Schwartz, It is not what you eat, but what eats you...; Shedema Goodman, Come to Life; Thea Alexander, 2150 AD; Ken Carey, Return of the Bird Tribes, to name a few.

He was the Editor-in-Chief and contributing writer for Spiritual Times magazine in 1992.

He taught the series, Personal Power & Success Through Happiness, and Be Happy No Matter What, at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. from 1999 through 2002.

The New York Times wrote four articles about his accomplishments. The Connecticut Post has written many articles on him and calls Lionel, "The Happiness Guru."

He was the co-host for nine years of Successful Living, a live, call-in Radio Talk Show,
given a # 1 rating in 1994.

Lionel developed the "One Step Method of Being Happy." Since 1983, he has been empowering and enlightening people by conducting hundreds of seminars and workshops. Lionel implemented a Happiness Program to prison inmates of maximum security Greenhaven Correctional Facility in Stormville, NY and medium security Fishfill Correctional Facility in Fishkill, NY. He led weekly discussion groups with Fairfield Homeless Shelter residents

Lionel is happily married for 37 years, and enjoys  three wonderful children, a great daughter-in law, and two joyful grandchildren.
