MADISON, CONNECTICUT - MADISON HAPPINESS CLUB

I decided to start a Happiness Club meeting in Madison, Ct. in October of 2006.
It has simply been a wonderful experience! I so enjoyed attending the meetings that Lionel Ketchian ran in Fairfield that I wanted to bring it to my own town. The response to it has been far greater than I imagined. People love attending and I have been told by some that it has helped them to make positive changes in their lives!!
I always hear very positive feedback from people who attend the meetings. I run the meetings very similar to the Fairfield ones, I hold them monthly at the Madison Library and I have a different speaker each month on all different topics related to Happiness. I also like to talk about something that I may have read or heard about
and I try to provide different handouts. It has truly brought greater happiness into my life
and I so enjoy having the speakers pass on their incredible knowledge!
Meetings include a presentation by professional speakers on happiness.

NEW BEGINNINGS COMMUNITY, MILFORD, CONNECTICUT

On Sunday, May 8, 2016, Mother's Day, Rev. Lynette Turner offered a message on The Power of Nurturing. Come feel the love! New Beginning is an interfaith/interspiritual community where all are welcome, all are appreciated, and none are judged.
Lynette is a Positivoligist™, motivational speaker, and Positivity/Life Strategist coach. She is also a certified dream teacher with the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming, an Angelspeake facilitator, and an ordained interfaith/interspiritual minister.

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support in helping make the Hartford Happiness Club the best it can be! - With Love & Happiness, Audrey.
The time has come to spread happiness in Hartford Ct! I graduated with certification in Positive Psychology from the Wholebeing Institute taught by Tal Ben Shahar. I am excited to share and continue to grow as a lifelong learner giving my life meaning and purpose. My studies include a Masters of Arts in Experiential Health and Healing from the Graduate Institute in 2008. Dr. Bernie Siegel was my mentor who put me on a path to learn, grow and share. Bernie taught me how to take life and all it's complexities and make it simple. Through Bernie, I met Lionel at a workshop.
It was at this point where I was introduced to The Happiness Clubs. I never looked back. Lionel was put on this earth to plant seeds of happiness around the world. I am humbled to have Lionel in my life and be part of something larger than life.

BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT - BRIDGE HOUSE HAPPINESS CLUB

The first meeting was on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M.|
Bridge House is a Clubhouse which is modeled on the Fountain House model of psychiatric rehabilitation. The men and women who attend assist with the running of the program, which helps to restore their sense of purpose, dignity and self worth. Members also work at part time jobs, with staff providing intensive supports.

I have known Lionel Ketchian, and his unique passion for sharing happiness, for 5 years. When he offered to bring a Happiness Group to Bridge House, I jumped at the opportunity. The adults in this program, a non-clinical psychiatric rehabilitation program, have been extremely responsive to his message. They hear the valuable nuggets that he offers: make a choice! Your life is more than the things which happen to you.Your thoughts and choices can bring happiness moment by moment,
despite what life seems to throw at you. Lionel and the Bridge House members learn from one another: practice gratitude, we are surrounded with things to be grateful for. Lionel is surely at the top of the list things we are grateful for!

Lionel Ketchian is the group facilitator.

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT CHAPTER OF THE DBSA

(National Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) Eighteen years ago, the Greenwich Chapter,
recognizing the need within our community, started a chapter in Greenwich, Connecticut.
We have been pleased both with the response to the program and with our ability to have helped hundreds of patients and family members. We hold weekly meetings on Fridays from 2:30 - 4:30 PM in a lovely residence in Greenwich, CT.
How Does It Work? The only requirement for participation in our group, which is open to patients and family members, is that the participant with depression or bipolar disorder be under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
There is no charge. Individuals with Depression or Bipolar Disorder from Fairfield and Westchester Counties are welcome to attend as are their friends and family who wish to learn more and be supportive.
